UPDATE: Jacob Riley of Gray charged with breaking into vehicle in Gray community. Kentucky State Police is asking for your help identifying an individual who is breaking into cars in the Gray Community

UPDATE: On December 20, 2018 KSP Tpr. Kelley Farris charged Jacob Riley (25) of Gray with theft by unlawful taking over $500.00.

 

Jacob Riley of Gray was charged with breaking into vehicles.

On December 20, 2018 KSP Tpr. Kelley Farris charged Jacob Riley (25) of Gray with theft by unlawful taking over $500.00. Mr. Riley was arrested yesterday by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department on bench warrants. Mr. Riley has admitted to breaking into the vehicle on December 13, 2018 and stealing items inside of the car. Some of the stolen property that was taken has been located by Knox County Sheriff’s Department.  Mr. Riley is lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

Case is still under investigation by Tpr. Kelly Farris.

Gray, Ky. (December 18, 2018) Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan is requesting assistance from the public with identifying an individual who has been breaking into vehicles in the Gray area of Knox County. KSP is currently working an investigation involving this individual. On December 13, 2018 at approximately 3:00 a.m. a vehicle was broken into at a residence off of Miller Lane and several items were taken from the car.

The individual appears to be wearing dark jeans, gray hoodie with a camouflage jacket.
