Mr. Allen Dean Martin, 60, of Bailey Switch, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 11, 2026 at his home. He was the son of the late Henry Allen and Stella Smith Martin born February 25, 1966 in Pineville.
Allen was a former HVAC technician and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and enjoyed working with his hands, often on his latest project.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Hailey Martin of Lexington and Cassie Nantz and husband, Alex, of Barbourville; sister, Sharon Hampton and husband, Jerry, of Dandridge, TN; ex-wife and mother of his children, Teresa Martin; nephews, Andy, Matt and Nathan Hampton; among other relatives and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, July 17 at 2 P.M. He will be laid to rest in the Spurlock-Lawson Cemetery.
Serving as casket bearers will be Andy Hampton, Matt Hampton, Nathan Hampton, Jacob Christison, Jerry Hampton and Chris Powers.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Knox-Whitley Humane Association at https://knoxwhitleyhumane.org/ in his memory.
