Angela Kay “Mert” Merida, age 56 of Artemus was born in Knox County, KY on September 21, 1967 to the late Glen and Martha Merida and departed this life on April 14, 2024 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed caring for her dogs, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, a brother: Brian Neal Merida preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving siblings: Melissa Merida, and Karyn Merida; a special nephew: Cody Merida; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
