Betty Faye Mills age 70, of Jeffs Creek, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation in Barbourville, Kentucky.
Betty was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Marie Grubb Mills, born to them in Knox County on July 4, 1955.
Her life was devoted to taking care of her daughter, Betty was a homemaker who spent most of her time outdoors in the sun, whether that was gardening, mowing the grass, planting flowers or just pulling weeds. She always made sure her nails were painted and hair curled. In her free time, she loved watching soap operas and Kentucky basketball. Cooking during the holidays and quilting. Betty was a member of the Jeff’s Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Betty is also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters; Buford, Janice Sue, Lola Mae, Judy, Ruby Pearl, Billy Ray and Bobbie Lynn.
Survivors include her daughter; Lori, a brother; Clark Jefferson Mills (CJ) and a friend Larry, a special thanks to Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center’s staff along with Bluegrass Care Navigators for all of their care.
A graveside service for Betty Faye Mills will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 1:00 P.M at the Grubb Family Cemetery. Brother Reed Murphy will be officiating.
