Mrs. Beulah Mae Williamson, 91, of Barbourville, passed away Friday afternoon, January 23, 2026 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Edd and Nannie Jane Rhodes Miles.
Beulah was a former cook at Knox Central High School, where she faithfully served students and staff for many years and was a devoted member of the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. She found great joy in cooking and baking, and she was especially known for her homemade cakes and candy.
On October 22, 1961, she united in marriage with Elmer Tom Williamson, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonitta Lavonne Williamson; a sister, Carol Jean Gray and brothers, Kenneth D. and Herbert C. Miles.
Survivors include her loving children, Kenneth Wayne Williamson and Erma of Swan Pond and Tommy Ray Williamson and wife, Ginger, of Corbin; six grandchildren, Casey Shelley and husband, Greg, Brandon Williamson, Corey Williamson and wife, Brandy, James Williamson, Anthony Williamson and wife, Haley, and Kevin Williamson and fiancé, Megan; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; among other loved ones and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
Her funeral service will be conducted at the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church Saturday, January 31 at 12 Noon with Rev. Bill Engle, Rev. Sam Lawson, Rev. Jeff Lewis and Rev. Gary Miles officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Miles Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Corey Williamson, Brandon Williamson, Jonathon Singleton, James Williamson, Anthony Williamson and Kevin Williamson.
Friends may visit at the church Friday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Saturday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
