Obituary for Charles L. Keys (1960-2021)

Mr. Charles L. Keys, 61, of Barbourville, passed away Friday evening, October 8, 2021 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital.  He was the son of the late Roy Glan and Carol Frazier Keys born on February 29, 1960 in Knox County.

Charles was a former HVAC repairman and a Christian who loved the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Sue Bowling; a brother, Milas Keys and a sister-in-law, Penney Keys.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra R. Keys of Barbourville; three children, Charles Glan Keys and wife, Cassie, Brandon Magee and Jeremy Magee all of Barbourville; three sisters, Sharon Warren and husband, Mike, and Sandy Farmer and husband, Don, all of Corbin and Pat Lewis and husband, Dale, of Richmond; a brother, Roy Keys of Corbin; five grandchildren, Kallie Magee, Charlie Keys, Brayson, Brantley and Brailey Baker; among other loved ones and dear friends.

A graveside service will be conducted in the Warfield Cemetery Tuesday, October 12 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Don Farmer officiating.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may call at the cemetery prior to the service time.  Family and friends, who wish, may meet at the funeral home Tuesday at 12 Noon to travel in procession to the cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
