Christopher Austin Andrew Baker “Chicken” Marion age 24, of Cannon, Kentucky departed this walk of Life on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in the U.T. Medical Center.
Christopher was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on February 12, 2001, to Charlie (Nut) Marion and Gladys Baker.
Christopher is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather; Sterling Ray Baker, beloved aunt; Anna Marie Marion Cox and one uncle; Kenneth Saylor.
Christopher enjoyed his job as a garbage man, collecting knives, the baby’s, family and friends, working on his truck, carpentry and mechanics.
Christopher leaves behind his parents; Charlie (Nut) and Bobbie Joe Marion of Girdler, KY., and Gladys Baker of Corbin, KY., his grandparents; Benny and Brenda Marion of Girdler, KY., Carolyn Baker of Corbin, KY., two brothers; Colby Marion (Hannah) of Swan Pawn, and Linus Marion of Girdler, KY., one niece; Ava, one nephew Hunter Ray, a perfect bundle of joy arriving in 2026. Christopher also leaves behind a host of cousins and friends who were like brothers and sisters to him, many aunts and uncles, Christopher also leaves behind his special fiancé Savana Ball of Swan pawn and her special little girl; Blakely, whom Christopher thought of his own. Christopher was her dada, and she thought he hung the moon and stars.
Funeral services for Christopher Austin Andrew Baker Marion (Chicken) will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 3:00 P.M in the chapel of Barbourville Funeral Home. Preacher Gilbert Collins and Preacher Glen Collins will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Marion cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Colby Marion, Johnny Grubb, Steven Cox Jr., Brian Leath. Jessie Partin and Lowell Lawson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be friends and Family.
