Obituary for Dale Rantz-Lemanski Jr. (1974-2026)

Dale Rantz-Lemanski Jr. age 51 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2026, at his home.

He was born on June 16, 1974, in St. Joseph, Michigan to Dale Edward Rantz and Debra Schadler.

Dale was preceded in death by his best friend Dennis Walters (Teliza).

He leaves behind Carla Rantz and four children. Dale Rantz-Lamanski and Carla Owens was united in marriage on August 18, 2000, and to this union two children were born, Harleyann T. Rantz and Henry M. Rantz. Dale Rantz-Lemanski was united in a relationship with Tina Hudson in 1991 and to this union two children were born, Destinee M. Madgysie (Ronald), Dale Rantz Myers (Abbie). He had three grandchildren; Ramsee Madgyesi, Christlynn Hoskins, and Hazel Eastridge, one brother; Jamie Lemanski (Jenny) who he loved and adored better than life. Dale had one niece Cyanna Lemanski. He had five nephews; Isiah Lemanski, Elijah Lemanski, Dennis Walters, Timothy Walters, and Jacob Darda. There are many more people, family. and friends left behind to miss him and to mourn his passing.

Dale had a few hobbies he was working on when he first became sick. He collected old Knives and had a pretty good collection. He also collected rocks and would polish them. Dale found this to be very peaceful, fun, and a beautiful project. Aside from collecting things Dale enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. That’s where he found his comfort. He always wanted to be as far in the mountains as he could get.

Funeral services for Dale Rantz-Lemanski will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, At 2:00 P.M in the Chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Les Broughton and Wendell Williams will be conducting the service. The family will receive friend on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M on both nights. The family has chosen cremation after the service.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Dale’s memorial to The Barbourville Funeral Home.
