Dennis Ray Wagers, 71, of Barbourville, KY, passed away Friday, June 27th, at the Barbourville ARH.
Dennis was born in Hyden, KY, on February 6th, 1954, a son of the late Jessie and Gladys Wagers.
Dennis is survived by his children: Dennis Wagers, Jr. and Amy Wagers, both of Barbourville; he is also survived by his brothers, Denver Wagers and wife Molly of Manchester and Joseph Wagers and wife Lisa of London; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; by his aunts, Vicky Smallwood and Rhoda Estep; by a special nephew, Christopher Gray; by his stepdaughter, Brittany Simpson; by his step grandchildren: Sophie Simpson and Savannah Hacker; and by his fiancée, Kathy Mills.
In addition to his parents and wife, Dennis is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Dillard Wagers, Delbert Wagers, Douglas Wagers, Delphie Stewart, and Della Wilson.
Services for Dennis will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1st, at Britton Funeral Home, with Terry Lightford officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery on Goose Rock.
