Elmer Elliott Jr. age 52, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Barbourville ARH. He was a resident at Jackson Manor Apartments in Barbourville, Kentucky for two years. He was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and a member of House of Refuge. Elmer loved to visit other churches. He loved to cut up and hang out with his family.
Elmer was born on June 18, 1974 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Elmer Sr. and Julie Hall Elliott.
Along with his parents, Elmer was also preceded in death by his wife; Rosa Elliott, a sister; Patricia Lee, a brother; Buddy Vaughn, both of his grandparents on his mom and dad’s side, some aunts, uncles and cousins.
Elmer leaves behind a son; Johnathan Asher, six brothers; Jimmy Elliott and wife Laura, Jamie Dewayne Elliott and Fiancé Karen Allen, Billy Joe Vaughn and wife Alisha, Bobby Vaughn, James Vaughn, and Gene Elliott, three sisters; Lisa Hobbs, and Christian Lee and Sam and Thelma Lou Vesteria and Darrell, a host of nieces and nephews, a special nephew; Kaden Elliott along with other relatives and friends to miss him and to mourn his passing.
A funeral service for Elmer Elliott Jr. will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Pastor Nathan Ledford, Brother David, Brother Eric Jordan and Brother Dalton Payne will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M until the time of service at the funeral home. The family has chosen cremation after the services.
