Mrs. Gail M. Perkins, 69, of Corbin, formerly of Bryants Store, passed away Thursday morning, November 23, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Silas and Flora Mills Grubb born on December 14, 1953 in Bell County.
Gail was a homemaker and a member of the Salt Gum Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with ceramics, attending auctions and collecting various antiques.
On May 28, 1971, she united in marriage with Franklin D. Perkins and to this union two daughters were born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Marie Perkins; a sister, Mary Lou Grubb and two brothers, Virgil and Wayne Grubb.
Survivors include her loving husband, Franklin D. Perkins of Corbin; a dearly loved daughter, Angela Hannah and husband, David, of Corbin; two cherished grandchildren Malachi and Rachel Jackson; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, November 30 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Greg McClain officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Croley Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
