Garry Smith, age 61, of Barbourville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at his home.
Garry Smith was born on August 11, 1964 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late James Washington and Ruta Smallwood Smith.
Along with his parents Garry is preceded in death by one brother; James Eddie Smith, two sisters; Debra Kay Smith, and Patty Begley.
Survivors include one son; Jay Smith “JJ” of Indiana and one brother Ronnie Smith and Joann of Flat Lick, Kentucky, five sisters; Phyllis Smith of Richmond, Brenda Mills of Barbourville, Lisa Dycus and John of Barbourville, Penny smith and Artemus and Kathy Howard and Don of Flat Lick.
Funeral Services for Garry Smith will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 2:00 P.M at the Concord Baptist Church. Reverend Terry Broughton will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Farley Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at 2:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Curt Moellmann Ronnie Gray, Ricky West, John Dycus, Josh Lawson, and Gary Smith.
