Harrison Mills, Sr., age 82 of Flat Lick was born in Knox County, KY on July 31, 1942 to the late Aderson and Cora Gambell Mills and departed this life on Saturday, May 24, 2025 in the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed antiquing, Flea Markets, car shows, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, his wife: Rhinda Mills; infant twins; 5 brothers: Pete Mills, Larry Mills, John D. Mills, Edward Mills, and Buck Mills; and 2 sisters: Sudie Mills, and Ella Mills Ballard preceded him in death.
Harrison is survived by his loving children: Harrison Mills, Jr. and wife Michelle, and Angela Mills all of Flat Lick; 3 grandchildren: Andy Mills, Adam Senters, and Katie Jones; 1 great grandchild: Abram Jones; special nephews: Darrell Mills and Obie Gray; car show buddies: Chris Smith, Darrell Brock and Darrell Mills; special friends: Benny Brown, Duey Taylor, John Crawford, Cliff and Rondall and many more; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Harrison Mills, Sr. will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May, 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to the funeral hour at 2.
