Ms. Inita Hampton, 93, of Corbin, passed away Monday morning, May 19, 2025 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born June 24, 1931 in Gatliff, the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara Mae Rickett Carter.
Inita was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith. In earlier years, she enjoyed gardening and sewing. She especially loved time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hampton.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Smith of Salt Lake City, UT, Charles Lynn Hampton and wife, Glenna, of Barbourville, Martha Jane Gray and husband, Hanley, of Pineville and Paul Hampton and wife, Sheila, of Barbourville; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
No services are planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
