Jessie McVey age 68 of Bimble, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at his home.
Jessie was born on January 9, 1957, in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Frank and Hazel Gray McVey.
Along with his parents; Jessie was also preceded in death by his wife; Brenda Brown McVey, one brother; Frank McVey and one sister; Laura Fredrick.
Jessie leaves behind six children; Jessie Lee McVey (Margaret), Amy Elliot (Rick), Angel Bays, Scotty McVey (Lisa), Jeffrey McVey and Jason McVey (Finance Patricia Jordan), twenty-four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother; Charlie McVey (Kaye) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends to miss him and to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Jessie McVey will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:00 P.M in the chapel of Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother David Mounce. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Collins and McVey cemetery.
The family and friend will serve as pallbearers.
