Judy Gail Smith age 66, of Girdler, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, peacefully at her home.
Judy was born on January 26, 1960, to the proud parents Woodson and Ressie Hibbard Smith. She grew up in Lynn Camp Hollow in Gray, Kentucky, she had a close relationship with her siblings.
Judy was very Humble, NEVER putting herself above anyone else, she was a member of Beach Springs Church.
Along with her parents Judy was also preceded in death by four brothers; Harold William Smith, Bobby Ray Smith, Robert Jr. (Bill) Smith, and James Earl (Jim) Smith, four sisters; Callie Sue Smith, Betty Jean Smith, Mary Etta Smith and Ada Ann Smith.
Judy is survived by her husband; Billie (David) Smith, two daughters; Crystal Lee Soper and husband Neil, and Georgia Ann Deaton and husband Eddie, three granddaughters; Elizabeth Soper, Hope Carew, Kristina Carew, and Abbagail Moses and husband Coleman, three grandsons; Richard Soper, Travis Deaton, and Devin Deaton, two sisters; Linda Carol Middleton and husband Jerry and Bonnie Jean Dozier, three brothers; Lonnie Wayne Smith and wife Tammy, Joe Neil Smith and wife Martha, Randy Lee Smith and wife Heather, along with a very large host of family and friends to miss her and to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Judy Gail Smith will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 1:00 P.M. at The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Kenny Johnson and Brother Roy Vaughn will be officiating. Interment will follow in Nan Riley Cemetery at Woolum, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026, at The Barbourville Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M.
