Kimberly Lynn Smith Messer, age 39 of Barbourville was born in Pineville, KY on January 27, 1986 to Dewayne Smith and Tammy Chadwell Fuson and departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in the Lake Cumberland Hospice Center in Somerset, KY. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed dancing, singing, listening to music, cooking, and time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by grandparents: J. D. Fuson and Sandra Fuson, and Oliver and Dena Smith.
Kimberly is survived by her loving parents: Dewayne Smith of Bimble; and Tammy Fuson and husband Jerry of Bryants Store; her adoring children: Jacob Messer and Ariauna Shupe of Barbourville, and Makayla Messer and fiancé Luke Young of Lexington, KY; her grandmother: Bonnie Plemons and husband Jimmy of Barbourville; a brother: Jason Fuson of Barbourville, KY; 2 sister: Hunter Fuson, and Braelynn Fuson of Bryants Store; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Kimberly Messer will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Donnie Mills officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
