Lena Clairessa Jackson age 65 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home.
Lena was born on April 3, 1960, in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Melvin and Eula Faye Disney Jackson, she was of the holiness faith.
Along with her parents Lena was also preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Dale Jackson and a niece Jennifer Jackson.
Lena leaves behind a brother Dennis Jackson (Rita), seven sisters Debra Faye Jackson, Pamela (Allen), Sandra Jackson, Selena Jackson, Julie Ann Humfleet, Melissa Cobb (Jeremy), Connie Brock (Alan), one niece Mariah Johnson, five nephews Gregory Reves, Michael Reeves, Jacob Johnson, Stephan Jackson (Breana), Joseph Humfleet, along with other family members and friends to miss her and to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Lena Clairessa Jackson will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Fred Disney Jr. will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Hammond Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at 2:00 P.M at the funeral home.
Family and friends will be serving as Pallbearers.
