Lonnie Honeycutt, age 66 of Bryants Store was born in Knox County, KY on February 10, 1959 to the late Ted and Lucy Patterson Honeycutt and departed this life on May 4, 2025 in Barbourville. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing with his dogs, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 2 brothers: Hobert Honeycutt, and Clarence Honeycutt; 2 sisters: Mary Jane Saylor, and Irene Honeycutt; and 2 stepdaughters: Rhonda Jordan and Dennie Patterson preceded him in death.
Lonnie is survived by his loving children: Daniel Honeycutt and wife Whitney of Corbin, and Justin Honeycutt of Barbourville; a stepson: Dewayne Killion and wife Christina of Corbin; 5 brothers: Cecil Honeycutt and wife Wilma, Delbert Honeycutt, and Gillie Honeycutt and wife Peggy all of Flat Lick, Donny Honeycutt and wife Bonnie of Barbourville, and Lester Honeycutt and wife Nancy of Gray; 3 sisters: Geraldine Cruce of Bryants Store, Brenda Reece of Corbin, and Barbara Lawson of Flat Lick; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Lonnie Honeycutt will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Polly Warren Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
