Lucille Francis Vitalie Moore, age 81 of Barbourville was born in Newark, NJ on August 17, 1943 to the late Arthur and Rosalee Vitalie and departed this life on June 9, 2025 in the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed Cooking, Baking, caring for her house and family, and time with family and friends.
Her parents: Arthur and Rosalee Vitalie preceded her in death.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 20 years: Jessie Moore of Barbourville; a son: Brian Nordstrum and wife Kimberly of Gray; 2 daughters: Linda Davis and husband Howard of Barbourville, and Donna Hill of FL; 2 brothers: Arthur Vitalie and wife Connie of NJ, and Joey Vitalie of Pittsburg, PA; 5 grandchildren: Madison Collins, Sidnie Leddington, Damien Davis, Justin Weickhardt, and Angela Hammons; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucille Moore will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery with Damien Davis, Justin Weickhardt, Kyle Peach, Cameron Storm, David Brock, and Duke Leforce serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received Monday Evening from 6 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to the funeral hour at 2.
