Margaret Ruth Thomas age 64 of Gray, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.
Margaret was born on May 1, 1961, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Mattie Blackburn Dean.
Along with her parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas, a grandson, Cody Fultz, one brother; Gary Dean, five sisters; Wanda Sue Dean, Etta Marler, Mary Collins, Joyce Gutirrez and Martha Sargent.
Survivors include two children; Nancy Thomas (Fred) and David Jackson (Rachel), six grandchildren; Savannah, Hallie, Paris, Adryanna, Chaz and Ashlyn, one brother; Gene Dean (Carol), along with other family and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Margaret Ruth Thomas will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Daniel Wyatt will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas family cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M at the funeral home.
The family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
