Mrs. Nancy Lee Watson Smallwood, age 66 of Gray was born in Youngstown, OH on June 10, 1953 to the late Woodrow and Betty Vasbinder Watson and departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was a member of Old Ark House of Prayer and enjoyed singing, crocheting, going to the flea market, and time with family and friends especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents: Woodrow and Betty Watson; a sister: Cheryl Archer preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband: Leon Smallwood of Gray; a son: Leon Smallwood, Jr. and wife Kristina of Corbin; a daughter: Angela Winther and fiancé Geraldine Moore of Barbourville; a brother: David Watson and wife Peggy of IN; 5 grandchildren: Candice, Kayla, Dillion, Corey and Jordan; 3 great grandchildren: Myles, Maverick, and Jenson; and other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy Smallwood will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Eversole and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Broughton-Smallwood Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Thursday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M., Friday from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. and Saturday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
