Mrs. Norma Geraldine Cupp, 89, of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 21, 2026 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Ova R. and Myrtle Mayne Leforce born April 25, 1936 in Corbin.
Norma was a devoted homemaker and a member of the Varilla Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible, spending time with her family and cooking in younger days.
On June 21, 1963, she united marriage with Arthur Lee Cupp and to this union seven children were born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; two sisters, Leota Prewitt and Mildred Tompkins; a brother, Willard “Bud” Leforce; a granddaughter, Kristen Gloff and a son-in-law, Thomas Mason.
Survivors include her loving children, Rick Cupp, Russell Cupp and wife, Trisha, Patricia Wright and husband, James, all of Ohio, Sharon Mason and Bruce Cupp and wife, Kay, all of Pineville, Arthur Cupp and wife, Linda, of Barbourville and Melissa Cupp of Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and another expected to arrive soon; a great-great granddaughter; among other loved ones and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, April 25 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Eric Jordan, Rev. Bill Stewart and Rev. Ernie Murray officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, OH Monday, April 27 at 1 P.M.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour. Monday, family and friends will gather at the cemetery gate and proceed together to the chapel at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are welcome, but if you would like, contributions may go to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
