Patty Ann Gray, age 69, of Bimble, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on February 28, 2026, at CHI Saint Joseph Hospital. Patty was born November 3, 1956 to Mary and Dan Selvey.
Patty was born into a big family. After her parents passing at a young age, she took on the role of mother to her younger siblings. She enjoyed sewing/quilting, canning, shopping, cooking and baking. She was especially fond of her grandchildren. When her granddaughter, Bryanna, was younger they were frequently known to sneak off shopping and then later spoil her with her favorite treat before returning her home to her mom! In the late summer, she was always canning with her mother-in-law, Sudie. In October 2025, she welcomed a new set of twin girls to the family that she was ecstatic about!
Left to mourn Patty’s passing is her former husband, Larry Gray; her children: Larry Daniel Gray; Ivy Lee Shelton and husband Jeremy; six grandchildren: Bryanna Gray, Audrey Stephens, Simon Gray, Zack Gray, Zoey Gray and Ava Gray; three great-grandchildren: Greyson & Emmalynn Judd and Riley Stephens, brother; David Selvey. Along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Patty in death were her parents, Mary and Dan Selvey; her siblings: Jim Selvey, Danny Selvey, Joe Selvey and Sue Vogel; and her parents-in-law, Hiram and Sudie Gray.
The Gray family will not be holding a service at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time. Family and friends will be notified.
