Roy Dale Harber, age 67 of Heidrick was born in Batavia, OH on April 30, 1958 to the late Ray Hammons and Wanda Bond and departed this life on May 24, 2025 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and loved playing with the grandchildren, joking, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 2 brothers: Dennis Hammons and Robert Hammons; and his mother and father-in law: Malcolm and Billie Martin preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 18 years: Jennifer Harber of Heidrick; a son: Brian Harber of London; 2 daughters: Nicole Harber of London, and LeeAnna Harber of Barbourville; 2 stepsons: Jacob Carl and Quinn Carl both of Heidrick; a brother: Scotty Hammons of Heidrick; 2 sisters: Teresa Hammons-Davis and husband Lonnie of Girdler, and Patricia Rice and husband Steve of Barbourville; 2 brothers-in-law: Scott Martin and Phillip Martin both of Barbourville; special friends and family: Stacy and Terry Roberts; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Roy Dale Harber will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev Jeff Branum officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to the funeral hour at 8.
