Roy Sizemore passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Barbourville ARH Hospital.
Roy was born on February 6, 1961, in Mills, Kentucky, to the late Burchell Sizemore and Rosa Mills.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Sizemore; two brothers, Herman Sizemore and Asher Sizemore; brothers-in-law, Karol Tomaszewski and Mike Savino; and three sisters, Darlene Sharp, Liza Baker, and Bendy Sizemore.
Roy was a hardworking man who took pride in running Sizemore and Sons Construction. He spent his days out there from daylight to dark, doing what he loved and providing for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Foley Sizemore of 45 years; his son- Christopher and wife Kendra Sizemore and daughter- Ashley and husband Derick Smith; and two grandchildren, Brayden Sizemore and Landon Smith. He is also survived by two sisters, Shirley Tomaszewski and Opal Savino, along with many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Barbourville Funeral home. Burial and service will follow in the Sizemore Cemetery with Brother Bud Sizemore officiating
Pallbearers will be Derick Smith, Landon Smith, Brayden Sizemore, Carl Brock, Darrell Messer, and Travis Curry.
