Obituary for Ruby Lee Wynn (1948-2024)

Mrs. Ruby Lee Wynn, 75, of Swan Pond, passed away Monday evening, April 29, 2024 at the home of her daughter.  She was the daughter of the late Crit and Ethel Mills Warren born on September 26, 1948 at Oneida.

Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Boone Height Pentecostal Church.  She enjoyed tending flowers, crafting, working in her yard and taking road trips, especially to Dollywood and Gatlinburg.  She also loved nature and power tools and woodworking.  Ruby delighted in spending time with her grandson, Landon.

On January 27, 1986, she united in marriage with Charles Wynn, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Alice Faye Stanfill and Bonnie Warren; brothers, Earl and Roy Warren and a granddaughter, Amanda Lee Hibbard.

Survivors include her children, James Hibbard and wife, Tina, of Girdler, Michael Kelly Hibbard and wife, Bettie, of Heidrick, Kimberly Brick and husband, Mark, of Swan Pond and Jennifer Wynn Robertson and husband, Daniel, of Shelbyville; a brother, Glenn Warren of Barbourville; treasured grandchildren, Eric, Katy, Michael, Dylan and Tabitha Marie Hibbard, Landon Brick, Chloe, Abby and Charlie Robertson, Tyler Reeder and Austin Walters; great grandchildren, Logan Rediker and Nickolas Eads; special niece, Barbara Kaye Sicklesmith; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, May 5 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Donald Tackett officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Hampton Cemetery at Girdler.

Casket bearers will be Kevin Hobbs, Matthew Hobbs, Michael Hibbard, Dylan Hibbard, Fred Stanfill and Christopher Parks.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
