Obituary for Sheree Nicole Ledford (1983-2026)

Mrs. Sheree Nicole Ledford, 42, of Heidrick, passed away Thursday morning, July 23, 2026 at her home. She was the daughter of Connie Lynn Jewell and the late L.A. Reynolds born December 31, 1983 in Temple, TX.

Nicole worked as a receptionist at Fast Pace Urgent Care and was a former EMT with Knox County EMS and Whitley County EMS. She had a passion for helping others, both professionally and personally. Nicole enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and creating lasting memories with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for her caring heart and devotion to those she loved.

On October 2, 2018 she united in marriage with Brett Ledford on Jekyll Island, GA.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her uncles, Jack Lawson and Larry Jewell and her fur babies, Echo and Daisy.

Survivors include her husband, Brett Ledford of Heidrick; mother, Connie Jewell of Rocky Top, TN; children, Chloe Smith and husband, Travis, of Heidrick, Abigail Riley of Heidrick, Devin Ledford and wife, Carlee, of Girdler, Shane Ledford and fiancé, Ally Davenport, of Heidrick and Danielle Ledford and Dillon Price of Woolum; brother, Cody Reynolds of Caryville, TN; cherished grandchildren, Kingston and Kinzlie Ledford, Paisley and Aubrey Price, and one expected to arrive soon; close friends, Heidi Gillette, Jennifer Giford, Jessica Everman and Kaylee and Wren Dodd; her Ledford family; her work crew at the Whitley County EMS and Fast Pace; among other relatives and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, July 28 at 12 Noon with Rev. Justin Morris officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Ledford Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Travis Smith, Shane Ledford, Devin Ledford, Kaylee Dodd, Jacob Davis and Cody Reynolds.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Tuesday prior to the funeral hour.
