Sondra Ellen Jones, age 76 of Corbin Kentucky departed this life on Saturday May 23 , 2026 at Baptist Health Corbin, She was the daughter of the late Thermon and June Lawson Taylor born to them on December 17,1949.
She is preceded in death by her daughters Kellee Edwards and Krista Pate, stepson Rodger Jones, and a special brother in law Avery Perry.
Left to mourn her passing, her daughter Marianne Campbell (Jimmy), grandchildren Hunter Campbell, Isaac Campbell, Dylan Edwards(Katie), Ethan Pate, greatgrandchildren, Kate Whitlock, Eli Edwards, sisters Sharon Perry, Sheila Cornish(Leon), a brother Stephen Taylor(Anita), and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Chapel on Thursday May 28, 2026 at 11 a.m. with Rev Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Worley Cemetery in Corbin, KY Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11:00 a.m.
