Obituary for Terry Wayne Carnes (1961-2025)

Mr. Terry Wayne Carnes, 63, of Corbin, passed away Monday evening, May 5, 2025 at Baptist Health Corbin.  He was born July 15, 1961 in Pineville, the son of the late Thomas and Doris Jean Davis Carnes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Carnes and a sister, Shelia Williamson.

Survivors include his loving children, Jonathan Carnes of Richmond, Christopher Carnes and Daniel Carnes both of Corbin and Jeffery Carnes and wife, Ashley, of London; a sister, Katrina Carnes of Mills; a grandson, Benjamin McPherson; a nephew, Cameron Owens and wife, Mercedes; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, May 17 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Donnie Mills officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Mills Cemetery.
