Funeral services for Ulyss Grubb will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Nick Honeycutt will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Hammons Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M. at The Barbourville Funeral Home.
Ulyss Grubb, age 72, of Flat Lick, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at his home.
Ulyss was born on August 17, 1953, in Stinking Creek, Kentucky to the late Issac Parker and Mariah Grubb. He was of the Holiness faith. He enjoyed fishing, race cars, hunting, and watching westerns.
Ulyss leaves behind five children, Lonnie Grubb (Chasity) from Hedrick, Kentucky, Ronnie Grubb (Alice) from Barbourville, Kentucky, Eric Grubb (Diane) from Flat Lick, Kentucky, Kayla Grubb from Barbourville, Kentucky, and Breanna Bunch (Tanner) from Artemus, Kentucky, 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, three brothers, Curt Grubb, Harvey Grubb, and Issac Grubb Jr., the mother of his children, and caregiver, Betty Grubb and family, a special caregiver, Derek Grubb. along with many other relatives and friends, to miss him and to mourn his passing.
Along with his parents, Issac and Mariah, Ulyss was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Asher and Judy Gray.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
