Vickie Lynn Brock, age 63, of Flat Lick, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at her home.
Vickie was born on November 11, 1961, in New Albany, Indiana to the late Thomas and Pauline Miller Bushong. She loved her flowers, her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. But most of all, being of the Baptist faith, she loved her lord and Savior.
In addition to her parents, Vickie is also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Ernest Wesley Brock. 5 sisters, Maryann and Diane Philpott, Shirley Elliot, Jeanie Mason and Gloria Hicks. 1 brother, Lloyd Bushong as well as 2 great grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving children, Robert Bobbitt and Jessica, Dianne Grubb and Eric, Paula Reilly and Pat and Wesley Brock and Kelli. 1 sister, Carol Parson. 3 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law. 17 grandchildren, Heather Engle and Kevin, Hunter, Hope, Hannah Pauline, Devon, Jacob, Dakota, Calem, Chloe, Gabe, Sammy, Elijah, Cooper, Able, Violet, Ariella, And Climerlyn. 4 great grandchildren, Raylynn, Kevin, Chaselynn, and Casey. Along with many other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Vickie Lynn Brock will be conducted on Thursday, September 18 th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother David Mounce will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Hammons Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Wesley Brock, Hunter Marsee, Robbie Phillpot, Kevin Engle, Eric Grubb, Tim Davis, and Jacob Grubb.
