Mrs. Vivian Doris Creighton, age 82 of Heidrick, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in the Barbourville Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Lowell Creighton and the daughter of Delbert B. Cole and Mae (Tuttle) Cole born to them on June 12, 1943.
Vivian was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved to cook and enjoyed being with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lowell Creighton, her parents, Delbert and Mae Cole, her daughter, Sharon Fisher, her brothers, Gene Cole and Robert Cole and her sisters, Mildred Clark, Ruth Trent, Joyce Jackson, Thelma Collins and Faye Frost.
Left behind to mourn her passing, her son Jeffrey Creighton and wife Sandra of Artemus and her daughter, Joy Gilbert and husband James of London, grandchildren, Chawntale Alsip, Jaycee Creighton, Tara Robinson, James Gilbert, Jr., Nathan Fisher and Francie Fisher, great-grandchildren, Emree Alsip, Takoda Alsip, Lasha Robinson, James Gilbert, III, Isabelle Gilbert, Peyton Gilbert, Emily Gilbert, Jackson Gilbert, Nathan Gilbert, Samuel Gilbert, Breanna Bay, Jathan Powell, Haley Lambdin, Chloe Wells, Natalie Fisher, Eathan Fisher, great-great grandchildren, Harper Wells, Jace Lambdin, Noah Lambdin, Emmy Lambdin and Riley Lambdin. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Creighton will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Elder Lester Mills and Elder Doug Vernon officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Doolin Cemetery in Heidrick. Pallbearers will be, James Gilbert, Jr., Glendale Mills, Nathan Fisher, Takoda Alsip, Daniel Alsip and Bo Alford. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 1:00.
