Flat Lick Elementary Celebrates Valentine Day; Raises Funds for Academic Team

Students from Flat Lick Elementary celebrated Valentines Day on Friday, Feb. 16 with a school dance. The dance was held at the school for the kids to have fun but was also used to support the sixth grade academic team in their quest to participate this summer at Nationals. The Wildcats will represent Knox County in Washington, D.C. later this year in the national academic competition.

If you would like to make a contribution for the trips expenses, you can contact Coach Megan Senters or Angela Murphy (606)542-4712. Let’s get behind this team and send them to DC!!
