In a hard fought 5 set match, the Knox Central Lady Panthers claimed their 3rd consecutive 51st District Volleyball title at Lynn Camp High School. The Lady Wildcats of Lynn Camp did not allow a cruise to the title, winning the first 2 sets at 25-21 and 25-23. Knox Central came back in the 3rd set battling for every point, and won sets 3 and 4 with scores of 25-23 and 25-14, respectively. The intense 5th tiebreaker set was taken by the Panthers, 15-12, ending with celebratory jumps of excitement from the players.
The 13th Region Volleyball Tournament will begin on October 29th, with host Knox Central going against Harlan at 7:00 PM.
