Mrs. Charlene Renee Williamson, 57, of Barbourville, passed away Friday afternoon, November 10, 2023 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. Helton and Wanda Faye Hutton Helton Hembree born on July 9, 1966 in Pineville.
Renee was a senior work visa analyst and a member of the Apple Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flower gardens, being outside and going to the lake. Renee also enjoyed cooking, crafting, watching UK football and basketball games and making vinyl shirts for every occasion. She most loved her husband, daughter, son-in-law and spoiling her grandbaby, Blake, and living life to the fullest.
On June 14, 1985, she united in marriage with Rickey Williamson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oval and Ida Hutton and Cleda Helton and Ballard Bunch.
Survivors include her loving husband, Rickey Williamson of Barbourville; a daughter, Brooke Strong and husband, Brad, of Barbourville; treasured grandson, Blake Strong; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, November 15 at 7 P.M. with Rev. Scott Phipps officiating.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday after 5 P.M. until the service time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
