Ms. Rebecca Baker, age 60 of Flat Lick, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. She was born on September 25, 1966, to the late Dan Baker and Nora Lee Baker.
Rebecca was a former seamstress at Warner’s Sewing Factory. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including coloring, working word searches and crossword puzzles, visiting yard sales, collecting antiques, traveling, sewing, and most of all, spending precious time with her family. Her grandchildren held an especially special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Rebecca leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her two children, Jessica Baker (James) and Daniel Collins and his wife, Amber; five grandchildren, Alaina, Sophia, Wyatt, and Easton Collins, and Myrtle Brown.
She is also survived by two very special nieces, Madison Allen and Brittany Burnett, whom she loved as daughters; special nephews Kamdin Allen, Jonathan Allen, Aidan Allen, and Trace Jordan; and her great-nephews, Beckham and Walker Lawson, whom she lovingly considered her bonus grandchildren.
Rebecca also leaves behind three sisters, Mary Dioniso and her husband, Pablo, Barbara Burnett, and Irene Allen, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Though her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, the memories she created, the love she shared, and the special place she held in her family’s lives will never be forgotten. She will forever be remembered for the time she gave, the love she showed, and the family she cherished so deeply.
