Obituary for Ernest Walter Perkins (1945-2019)

Mr. Ernest Walter Perkins, age 74 of Artemus, was born in Portland, MA on February 12, 1945 to the late Dawn Hensley and Joan Perkins and departed this life on November 3, 2019 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital.  He was a member of Coal Port Holiness Church and enjoyed working, going to Church, and time with family and friends especially the stepchildren.

In addition to his parents, a sister: Lindsey Hensley preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife: Nequita Perkins of Artemus, his children: Jimmy Hubbard and wife Kimberly, David Hubbard and wife Casey, and Michell Honeycutt all of Artemus, and Dewey Hubbard, Jr. of West Liberty; a brother: Carl Hensley and wife Tammy of Manchester; a sister: Linda France of Manchester; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Ernest Perkins will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Ron Shelton, Rev. Glen Collins, Rev. Roe Gibson, and Brother Scotty Farmer officiating.  Burial will be private to the family.  Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Wednesday Evening from 6 to 8 P.M..
