Mr. Johnny Ray Bowling, age 34 of London, was born in Niles, MI on March 14, 1985 to Roberta Edwards Bowling and the late Joe Edward Bowling and departed this life on November 19, 2019 in Girdler. He was a member of Shady Grove Church of God and enjoyed hunting, working on cars, horses, helping anyone in need, loved his mother, and time with his wife and children.
In addition to his father, a brother: Terry Comley; and a sister: Jo Bowling preceded him in death.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife: Edna “Taz” Bowling of London; his mother: Roberta Edwards Keen of Corbin; his children: Cameron Bowling, and Emily Jo Bowling all of Gray, and Lacy Bowling of Hamilton, OH; stepchildren: Phillip Wisner and Kalina Withers both of London; a godson: Braden Couch of Gray; a brother: Christopher Sowards and wife Heather of Barbourville; 3 sisters: Sondra Weaver and husband Nick of Somerset, KY, and Kathy Whisman and Ruth Ann Whisman both of Elkhart, IN; a granddaughter: Kenzie Egner; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Bowling will be conducted in the Old Ark House of Prayer on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Couch Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Old Ark House of Prayer Friday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
