Mr. Harvey Eli Smith, 58, of Barbourville, passed away Thursday evening, July 30, 2026 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was born February 5, 1968 in Ft. Wayne, IN, the son of Peggy Kissell and the late Arthur Smith.
Harvey was a self-employed mechanic and accepted Jesus as his Savior. He enjoyed music and playing the electric guitar. Harvey faithfully served in the Kentucky Army National Guard. He also cherished time spent with family.
Survivors include his mother, Peggy Kissell of Upper Sandusky, OH; children, Victoria Jean Bruner and husband, Joe, of London and Joshua Dalton Smith and wife, Jayla, of Corbin; sisters, Judy Swafford and husband, Johnny, of Jarvis and Pamela Wright and husband, Gordon, of Upper Sandusky, OH; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Marissa, Brooklyn, Carmen, Bobbi Jo, ZayBriella and Zeelynn; one great grandson, DeWayne; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Following a private family visitation, no other services are planned.
