Funeral services for Karen Marie West will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 2:00 P.M at the Grubb-West Cemetery. Pastor J.C Grubb will be officiating. The family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Karen Marie West, age 61, of Gray, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home. She was of the Baptist faith.
Karen was born on January 1, 1965, in Barbourville, Kentucky, to the late William and Laura Frederick.
Along with her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Isabella West, and several brothers and sisters.
Karen leaves behind five children, Terry West Jr. (Katherine), Kayla Jelenc (Chris), Larry West, Jerry West (Ashley), and Michael Frederick; grandchildren, Mackenzie West, Callum West, Ella Jelenc, Camdon Jelenc, Collin Jelenc, Presley West, Layla West, and Jed West; and several other grandchildren, two brothers, Wayne Frederick and Kenny Frederic (Lovella). Along with other family and friends to miss her and to mourn her passing.
