Funeral services for Melissa Renee Moses will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 1:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Phipps will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Mayhew Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. The family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Melissa Renee Moses departed this life on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. She was of the Baptist faith.
Melissa was born April 4, 1973, in Barbourville, Kentucky, to the late Dewey and Judy Warren.
Melissa leaves behind one son, Bradley Moses, one granddaughter, Bethany Moses, a brother, Greg Warren (Tammy), two sisters, Amy McAdams (David) and Angie Warren, five nieces, Whitney Owens (Dale), Kelsey Thomas (Jesse), Megan Warren, Taylin Warren, and Halie Trosper, three nephews, Matthew Trosper, Justin Trosper, and Nick Trosper, two great nieces, Ellie Thomas and Sophia Vega, two great nephews, Luke Thomas Memphis Trosper along with other family and friends to miss her and to mourn her passing.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Barbourville Funeral Home in memory of Melissa Renee Moses.
