Mrs. Mary Jane Moses, 74, of Gray, passed away Friday morning, May 29, 2026 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born December 29, 1951 at Cannon, the daughter of the late Vernon and Flora Smith Jackson.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Keck Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and keeping up with the family cows. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her husband and children.
On June 14, 1975, she united in marriage with Christopher E. Moses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Hubbard, Josephine Gibson and Ruby Burkhart and brothers, Ray, Preston, Vernon Jr., Stanley and Reed Jackson.
Survivors include her loving husband, Christopher Moses of Gray; children, Marcus Moses of Gray, Crystal Moses of Gray, Mackenzie Montgomery and husband, Steve, of Orlando, FL, Gretchen Gray and husband, Tyler, of Gray, Hailee Moses of Gray, Coleman Moses and wife, Abagail, of Ft. Bragg, NC, Jaiman Moses of Ft. Bliss, TX and Kamie Moses of Gray; sisters, Helen Faye Hubbard and Pansy Mabe; a brother, Don Jackson; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Shelby Wyatt, Mallory Harris and husband, Ethan, Jackson, Evan, Gunner and Jordan Moses, Nehemiah Taylor, Shana Stephens, Bowen and Eowyn Montgomery, Lyndon Harris, Kaidence and Timberley Tuttle, Loren and Lincoln Gray; a special niece, Sue Galusha and husband, Bruce; among other loved ones and cherished friends.
A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, June 5 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday after 12 Noon until the service time.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to help the family with funeral expenses may make contributions to the funeral home in her memory.
