Obituary for Peggy Lee Relaford, 72

Peggy Lee Relaford, 72 of Flat Lick, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at her home in Flat Lick, Kentucky. She was born in Barbourville on June 25, 1949, a daughter of the late Herman and May Lawson Relaford.

Peggy was proceeded in death by her half-sister Debbie Relaford Wells of Barbourville, Kentucky, and a very special friend who was like a sister Mary Jefferson of Pineville, Kentucky.

Peggy was a believer in the Pentecostal Faith and had a lifelong career as a registered nurse working in several areas of South Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Tennessee and Tampa, Florida.

Peggy was known for caring and loving nature towards those that she cared for during her 40 plus year nursing career.

Peggy also had a special love for nature especially Hummingbirds, Butterflies and flower gardens.

Peggy was married three times with the first marriage to Joseph Edward Jackson of Flat Lick, Kentucky with this marriage three sons were born. She later married a dear friend Fredrick Charles Nordstrom from Tampa, Florida later in life she married Billy Charles LeFevers from Pineville, Kentucky.

Peggy is survived by her three sons Timmy William Jackson and wife, Amanda of Horse Branch, Kentucky, Justin Alexander Jackson and wife, Melissa of London, Kentucky and George Lee Jackson of Harlan, Kentucky, grandchildren, and their spouses, Shane and Lauren Jackson, Austin and Tristan Jackson, Jordan and Emily Jackson, Madelyn Eve Jackson, and Connor Dwayne Jackson; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Kate Jackson, and Maisyn Avery Jackson; great uncle, Cal Lawson, Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Henson presiding. Burial will follow at the Lefevers Cemetery in Kettle Island. Pallbearers will be Connor Jackson, Shane Jackson, Austin Jackson, Jordan Jackson

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, Kentucky.
