Mr. Stacy Joe King, 56, of Corbin, passed away Friday morning, September 18, 2026 at his home. He was born August 6, 1970 in Middlesboro, the son of Wilma Rae Gibson King and the late Kenneth Joe King.
Stacy was a former supervisor with Pearson and of the Baptist faith. He was a devout Christian who deeply loved Jesus and was called to preach and share the gospel of Jesus. He was also an avid fan of the University of Tennessee sports, WWE and enjoyed reading a good book.
Survivors include his loving mother, Wilma Rae King of Barbourville; a sister, Jessica King Bailey and husband, Joshua, of Pickerington, OH; a brother, David Bryan King and wife, Sharon, of Lincoln Park, MI; a niece, Shelby King; a nephew, Oliver Bailey; among other loved ones and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, September 28 at 12:30 P.M. with Rev. Rick Thomas officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the King Family Cemetery in Arthur, TN at 3:30 P.M.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday after 11:30 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
