London man dies in single vehicle accident on KY 459 in Knox County.

Kentucky State Police Master Trooper Shane Jacobs is reporting that a single vehicle accident claimed the life of a London, KY man on July 5. Jeremiah Jackson, 22, was traveling south on KY 459 at approximately 1:36 PM when he crossed the center line and left the roadway striking a tree. Mr. Jackson was taken to the Barbourville Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Barbourville Ky. (July 7, 2019) On July 5, 2019 at approximately 1:36 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from Knox County 911 of a single vehicle collision on Ky 459 in the Barbourville community of Knox County. Tpr. Kelly Farris responded to the scene and began an investigation.

Preliminary investigation indicates Jeremiah Jackson (22) of London Ky, was traveling south on Ky 459 while operating a 2015 Dodge Challenger. Mr. Jackson crossed the center line entering the north bound lane, then left the roadway striking a tree on the driver side of the vehicle. Mr. Jackson was taken to Barbourville ARH by Knox County EMS where he was pronounced deceased.

Trooper Kelly Farris is continuing the investigation.
