Obituary for Clementine Jackson (1947-2026)

Mrs. Clementine Jackson age 79 of Artemus, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at her home. She was the widow of Bobbie Eugene Jackson and the daughter of Michalengo and Carmellla (Colderone) Zipparo born to them on July 10, 1947. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents and one son Robert Michael Jackson. 

Clementine loved to travel, cook, shop for antiques, and restore furniture. She also loved spending time with her family and filming home videos.  She held dual citizenship in the United States and Italy and was very proud of her Italian heritage. She had been a lottery winner from the state of Maryland and traveled to Italy after winning. She was a restaurant owner of the Depot 55 at the substation and Whistling Dixie in Pemlico County, North Carolina. Most of all, she was a true protector of her sons no matter what. 

Left behind to mourn her passing, her beloved son, Eric Jackson and wife Charity, a daughter-in-law, Angela Bowles, grandchildren, Larissa, Carmin Jackson (Craig Young), Robert Eugene Jackson (Cassidy), Gracie Lane Jackson, Cason Butler and Scarlett Butler, great-grandchildren, Robert Michael Conner, Sadie Jackson and Landon Jackson, nieces and nephews Mike, Joey, David, Suzie, Zipparo, Debbie Zipparo Long, brother, Joe Zipparo and wife Kathy, aunt Rosetta Jackson, great nephews, Hunter, Hayden and Maggie, her god daughter, Chelsa Morris and dear friends, Terry and Bruce Morris, Judy Lovell and Nancy Purdue and her most loved pet, Sir Benjamin Wolf. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends. 

A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.
