Ms. Colene Scalf, 66, of Barbourville, passed away Thursday evening, November 16, 2023 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Cecil T. and Rebecca Mills Scalf born January 9, 1957 in Knox County.
Colene was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed watching CHIPS on television and drinking coffee. She most loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Rondal Mills.
Survivors include her loving sisters, Nola Mills of Barbourville and Vernice Centers and husband, Harvey, of Pineville; a niece, Diana Mills; nephews, Steven and Harvey Centers, Rondal Mills and Billy Mills and wife, Shelley; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, November 22 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Patterson Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
