Mr. Eugene Gray, age 78 of Flat Lick, was born in Knox County, KY on December 8, 1947 to the late Dewey Gray and Julia Mills Gray and departed this life on October 19, 2026 at his home.
In addition to his parents: Dewey and Julia Mills Gray; 5 brothers: Leamon Gray and wife Pansy, Delbert Gray and wife Mable, Chris Gray and Wife Mable, Thomas Gray and Wife Edith and Charlie Gray and Wife Irine; and 3 sisters: Enda Hobbs and husband Charlie, Lena Rice, and Ruah Hubbard and Burchel preceded him in death.
Eugene is survived by his loving wife: Virgie Gray; his son: Michael Longsworth and wife Janice; 2 grandchildren: Miranda Longsworth, and Aaron Longsworth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Eugene Gray will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. The Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday from 5 to 9 pm and Sunday from 10am to the funeral hour at 11.
