Obituary for Jennifer Miller-Gray (1979-2026)

Ms. Jennifer Miller-Gray, 46, of Barbourville, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2026 at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pineville.  She was born September 6, 1979 in Pineville, the daughter of Mary Craig-Miller and the late Edwin Miller.

Jennifer was a long-time employee of Best Western in Barbourville and a member of the Roadside Baptist Church.  She enjoyed going for drives in her truck and cruising the strip during Rod Run in Pigeon Forge with her son.  She also loved fishing, crafting and making things, online shopping and spoiling her son.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Brown Jr.; aunts, Anna and Bernice Miller; an uncle, Bob Miller and a grandchild.

Survivors include her loving mother, Mary Craig-Miller of Barbourville; a son, Brandon Dalton Gray of Barbourville; Miranda Edith “Sweet Girl” Hamilton of Barbourville, who she chose as a daughter; nephews she loved as her own, Austin Farmer and partner, Rebeccah Hunter, of Durham, NC and Branden Farmer and wife, Breann, of Smokey; sisters, Michelle “Sissy” Farmer of Smokey and Wanda Johnson of Cannon, who she loved as a sister; Tabitha “LYNN-E” Hamilton, Jayce Hamilton, J. T. Hamilton, Eli Hamilton and special princess, MiraJay “Pinky” Hamilton, who she claimed as her grandchildren; great nephews, John Alan Farmer, Justin Scott Farmer and Samual James Farmer all of Smokey; among other loved ones and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, March 27 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Rick Partin officiating.

Honorary bearers will be Tyler Burns, Earl Dye, James Goodwin, Franklin King, Shem Powell, Zackery Powell and Trevor Thomas.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Friday prior to the funeral hour.
